The Oil & Gas AFE platform was developed to streamline and modernize the entire Authorization for Expenditure lifecycle, enabling energy companies to manage complex project spending, approval workflows, and financial governance within a centralized digital environment. The objective was to replace fragmented manual processes with an integrated system capable of handling large-scale capital projects while maintaining strict compliance and operational transparency.

We designed a comprehensive AFE management ecosystem supporting structured AFE creation, supplemental AFEs, automated approval workflows, and seamless integration with existing operational systems including BOLO, WellEZ, and enterprise document management infrastructure.

To support both corporate and field operations, the platform included mobile applications for iOS and Android, enabling on-the-go approvals, real-time alerts, and offline capabilities for remote teams. Embedded analytics dashboards provided real-time financial insights, enabling leadership to monitor budgets, accruals, and project expenditures across multiple operations and regions.

  • Financial Intelligence & Reporting: Embedded business intelligence dashboards delivering real-time KPIs including budget-to-actual analysis, overspend alerts, and operational drill-down reporting.
  • Compliance & Audit Framework: Comprehensive audit trails, secure document versioning, automated notifications, and enterprise-grade authentication ensuring regulatory compliance and governance.
